Gama Charters

Why is Gama Charters recommended by the world’s preeminent aviation safety consultancy?

Because we don’t just meet the safety standards and ratings of the aviation auditing authorities, Wyvern and ARG/US; we exceed them. We are Wyvern Recommended, Blackbird Approved and ARG/US Platinum Rated.

Gama Charters is one of a small and elite group of FAA Certificated FAR 135 operators to have an FAA Approved AC-120-66B Aviation Safety Action Program as well as an FAA AC-120 compliant Safety Management System. Our maintenance department is the recipient of the FAA Certificate of Excellence Diamond Award.

All pilots are required to pass a comprehensive series of technical and psychological tests. All are ATP-rated and type-rated in their respective aircraft. All pilots receive classroom and simulator training on the organization's procedures and policies for both owner and charter operations. Pilots must complete a simulator proficiency flight check every six months and recurrent classroom training annually. Cabin attendants complete recurrent cabin service training each year and all flight personnel receive specific training on how to handle emergency events.

Our flight operations center is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by FAA licensed dispatchers. All flight operations personnel are responsible for scheduling and dispatching of both owner and charter flights. A flight itinerary (airports of departure and arrival, ground handling, estimated flight times, catering, ground transportation, hotels), is sent to the customer prior to each flight, which is subsequently tracked from take off to landing. Sales, operations and maintenance staff are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to provide the customer with up-to-date information.

These achievements set us apart from other aircraft charter operators and identify us as an industry leader because we go well above and beyond the minimum standards required by the FAA. It is no wonder then, that our crews have logged almost a quarter of a million hours of safe, incident-free flying.
